Buffalo Chicken: Not For Me

One of the Hungry Man dinners is cored was Buffalo Wing flavored chicken.

The corn was (as always) supernaturally good. The french fries (always tricky with a microwave dinner..) were also reasonably good. The Brownie was much much better then anticipated, though closer in texture and feel to cake then a true brownie.

The chicken itself, while well and fully cooked, was not, to me, good-tasting. the outer batter had a sharp, almost pepper-like taste to it that i found unappealing; it was the picture of being to hot rather then tasting good and being spicy. I'll not be having that manner of food again, likely.

IT's interesting to note i did improvise a bit on this one. The instructions said to remove the plastic cover; i instead left the cover on but loose, for the first portion of the cooking, then removed it entirely for the second (a 2 minute cycle, to finish heating up everything, i imagine). this worked quite well, and i was quite content with the texture and quality of the food it provided.
